Is NameCheap Better or GoDaddy?

NameCheap and GoDaddy are two of the biggest names out there when it comes to domain registration. I used GoDaddy for several years before learning about how NameCheap is much faster, but more importantly provides better support. GoDaddy still lags in that field, although rumor has it that they are getting better with that.

Perks of GoDaddy:

This is GoDaddy’s ultimate hosting package and it is perfect if you are hosting multiple client’s websites off of the addon domain feature in your cPanel hosting dashboard. It is $14.99. It becomes $16.99 when you renew, and it does include a free domain.

Perks of NameCheap:

This is NameCheap’s Stellar Business Plan going at just $4.80 per month at the time of this writing. I like this plan because it is much cheaper than GoDaddy’s and you get everything there plan has at a fraction of the cost. For one year of hosting it turns out to be about $57.
